Do you love to cook for others? Do you love the outdoors? Do you enjoy sitting down to dinner with new people every night?

We're looking for a self-starter excited to take on the challenges of cooking in a rustic setting. 

Our front country cook works out of our West Glacier horse corral in West Glacier, MT. There they prepare daily meals for our West Glacier wranglers as well as dinner for our guests on our cookout ride.

Breakfast and lunch are prepared in the staff cook tent or in a shared commercial kitchen. Cooks may plan well-rounded meals of their choosing and must be able to modify dishes to cater to individuals with specific dietary needs (ie. diabetic, vegetarian, allergies, etc.). The staff cook tent is a canvas wall tent equipped with electric appliances, cold running water, a propane grill, and an outdoor fire pit.

Dinner is a set menu prepared at our cookout site and served to guests and a few staff members. The cookout site features a fire place and propane grill with which to cook. At dinner only, gratuities are included and shared with the cook.

The cook is also responsible for inventorying supplies and communicating grocery orders to management. They must strive to reduce food waste and maintain a clean camp to prevent wildlife encounters.

Cooks also have the opportunity to enjoy our horseback offerings.

Employee housing available. $2,000 monthly salary, plus tips, room and board.

Current CPR, First Aid, and Food Handlers Safety certifications preferred.
